“The project involves the recovery of an entire multi-storey building dating back to 1500 located in the consolidated urban fabric of the city of Mantua, which the apartment constitutes a portion.

The project addresses the issue related to housing luxury, stating their condition of belonging to this area through the search for a spirituality of space that is expressed in the study of the details and the sensuality of the materials used.

The house with its decorations in the ceilings and some walls dating back to 500 and the first half of 800, and the project maintains its layering of signs in their ambiguity without drawing a philological selection.

The distribution organization of space is maintained in original condition, while the subdivision of interior spaces is done through the introduction of elements of furniture that reconfigure in part the structure, specifying hierarchies.

The project proceeds by layering of elements that overlap without vanishing
