Description:
This was a testing redesign/amusement, as the parcel is long and thin; and existing dividers of the old structure controlled decisions. Our customer, an effective model, required living space that worked for captivating and giving a tranquil retreat to visitors. The house is situated on the north/south pivot, with a calculated “cut” taken out of the perspective side of the home, drawing your eye towards the sea and the setting sun.
A midway found “glass box” bend staircase was intended for departure from the first floor as far as possible up through the home’s levels to the housetop. The staircase is an extremely useful bit of craftsmanship. Everything was proficient; remembering, shape, ease of use, light, and obviously, the perspectives. Contemporary meets cutting edge; a three-story ship with rooftop deck on top.
