“On The Market | Design/Build Development Project – 441 is a three-level, 4,000 sq ft. house in Marin County. The minimal, elongated facade mimics the axis of the road where, only minutes from town, more dog walkers pass headed to the trail head than do cars.

Upon entry the house evokes a modern, grown-up treehouse as a double height glazing frames sweeping views across the valley – opening to large decks for true indoor/outdoor living. The house is high tech and highly energy efficient with photovoltaics, heat pump and heat recovery system among many other implementations.

Materials are pre-weathered or maintenance-free to provide a minimal backdrop to living. An open plan at the main level with private spaces at bedroom areas create a natural function for entertaining or every day family use.”
