Cersaie 2023, Ceramiche Refin presents the new collections within a renewed exhibition space

During the event Cersaie 2023, held in Bologna from September 25th to 29th, the Italian company Ceramiche Refin presented its latest collections, the result of a careful research process that focused on several different looks, from natural inspirations to the most unexpected elements. All of this was organized within a renewed exhibition framework, with interior design and styling curated by Studio Salaris Milano.

The stand concept created by Studio Salaris is specifically designed to highlight the latest innovations in the Ceramiche Refin product line, launched on the occasion of Cersaie 2023, the unmissable international event for surface design, bathroom furnishings, and architectural finishes, including tiles for bathroom

The stand is conceived as a kind of art gallery, where each collection is treated as a unique installation with its own language. The organization, therefore, includes a series of exhibitions, even different from each other, yet linked by a cohesive and consistent architecture.

Regarding the new collections, one of the most unexpected and original is CERA. It draws inspiration from wax, a decidedly novel proposal in the world of ceramic surfaces. Following an in-depth research process, Ceramiche Refin has managed to recreate the plasticity of the material, giving shape to a graphic that stands out for its great depth.

The small traces, cracks, and cavities that reproduce the effect resulting from the casting and subsequent solidification of wax dance lightly on a background where light and dark areas alternate. Elegant and refined, the surface presents a uniform appearance, rich in nuances and unique details. Different colour variants are offered: FumoLuce, and Intenso. Meanwhile, the special Cerasilk surface finish, silky and soft, enhances the material effect of the graphic, conveying the fluidity of wax.

TAMASHI, which means “soul” in Japanese, is the new collection of wood-effect porcelain stoneware inspired by the most contemporary and essential woods widely used in furnishings. The line, refined and with great expressive power, is the result of rigorous research aimed at achieving a perfect balance between graphics and colours. It is characterized by fine, dense, parallel veins and subtle colour nuances.

One of the oldest deserts in the world, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, served as the inspiration for NAMIB, a collection that combines simplicity and immensity, bringing the suggestions of unspoilt nature into the world of interior design. There are four formats, two square and two rectangular, ranging from 120×120 cm to 30×60 cm, to easily adapt to any design requirement.

The surface of the tiles, overall uniform, alternates details and chromatic variations with light and dark streaks. This alternation, along with the diversity of grain and colour, conveys movement and depth to the collection. The colour palette is warm and refined, spanning different tonal scalesDuneEcru, and Linen are the more neutral shades, while CamelJasper, and Earth evoke soils and sands. This is complemented by the new matte finish, Matt-pro, soft to the touch, and easy to clean.

COQUILLE is the result of a careful aesthetic reworking of limestone, capable of synthesizing the beauty of mineral elements in discreet, balanced, and contemporary ceramic surfaces. Calibrated graphic markings, delicate veining, and fossil inclusions merge with the nuances and chiaroscuro of the background, creating a subtle shading.

As for HALO, it is a line with a strong decorative impact, ideal for highlighting architectural volumes, furnishings, and adding personality to commercial spaces and residential environments. Three-dimensional and non-uniform, the brick-effect wall tile collection features glazed surfaces, intense colours, and a glossy finish. It is available in a new format for Ceramiche Refin, 6×24 cm.

The latest news? It’s the restyling of the PRESTIGIO collection, designed to update the marble-effect ceramic slab line in line with the latest industry trends. It combines the authentic lines of natural marbles with an original contemporary style. There are five new variants of white marbles: Statuario Apuano, Calacatta Oro, Nuvolato, Arabescato, and Opera. Each colour is available in a variety of formats and finishes, including the large 120×278 cm slabs.
